Can you believe Sophie has been home with us for 2 years now??!! After a summer filled with all-star baseball we decided Sophie deserved a very special birthday spent with girlfriends, and a day that was all about her:-). We had a balloon artist in attendance to help celebrate, and he did not disappoint. There were smiles all around as he made special request creations for all the kids.
We captured the finale on video...a special balloon birthday cake Sophie helped the artist make. She had to hold the balloons and not let them touch (she took her job very seriously;-) and she wasn't supposed to peak as he combined the balloons....take a look...

And while I'm at it....here are some shots of the kids getting ready to start a new year of school. Nathan is in 7th grade this year, Owen in 4th, and Sophie is a proud first grader...
No dressing up for the boys (pickin' my battles), just new sneaks for Nate, and a new t-shirt for Mr O, but of course, my Miss Sophie was more than happy to go shopping for a new dress!
And another year begins....time goes so quick!!

I love that purple dress on her especially. So glad you have a little girly-ness to even out those boys and their no-need for shopping. HA! Somehow I know that all too well. ahahha! Your family is beautiful!

Loved the birthday video! And I can't believe it's been two years already! She's six! Wow! Looks like a wonderful time was had by all at the birthday party! So glad you updated and so good to see the kids and how they've grown! Maybe I'll get around to updating someday! :-)

What a spectacular birthday party you had for Miss Sophie!! I wish we could've been there! That balloon guy was awesome... does he travel to Minnesota?! ;) You could tell how good he was with the kids and how he made Sophie feel like the princess she is!
I've missed you so much, my friend! Welcome back and give that Sophie a big ol' hug for me! I still cannot believe it's been two years. Two years ago that you held my baby the same day you met yours. I will NEVER forget!
